Individuals who complete this program are eligible to sit for the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) Certified Professional Coder Exam. AAPC is recognized as a professional level industry standard. Textbook, AAPC membership, online practice exams, and certification exam fee are included in tuition. Coding books are required for the course and are available to purchase at an additional cost. Prerequisite: Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology.
