Students learn to read patient charts and review medical history, including diagnoses and treatments given. Courses include Electronic Health Records, Medical Terminology, Insurance Billing, NHA Certification Prep, and an 80-hour externship with a local employer. Individuals who complete this program are eligible to sit for the NHA Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) exam.
